Ferrari is going to upgrade his knowledge and expirience from racing tracks with hybrid system, which is going to built into serial production cars. First of all they are not doing this because of the ecological reasons, but for the better drivebility of the cars. They will be 4WD.
Rear pair of wheels is going to be driven by front or rear implemented gasoline engine, and for the other two wheels they will be moved by electric engines. This example has already been seen on Lexus RX 450h.
In basic concept Ferrari 4WD Hybrid will be powered by rear wheels and if necessary front wheels will automaticly join the power if this is needed by dynamability of drive.
